    I have had horrible trouble every time I taper prednisone and have had to go down 1mg per week or two. BTW I saw the post on hair loss and I also have significant bald patches on temples and thickening itchy scalp by them. But this time I have been able to go from 15 to 12.5 for 2-3 days then down to 10mg in another 2-3 days!!!! I hope you can get off of it completely, or at least take a small maintenance dose.
