    Chloroquine prophylactic therapy

I don't know that we've seen the formal research yet on treatment of symptomatic patients, but given the mode of action and supposed efficacy on the outcomes of more seriously ill patients that China is claiming, wouldn't that possibly also work as a prophylactic agent? Whether or not that is a good idea is a public health policy question - you would push the virus to mutate a lot faster like Malaria has if used as prophylaxis vs if you saved it only for already isolated sick patients - but it might be very effective with known contacts in early outbreaks to improve early quarantine effect of those exposed.
