What if i accidentally take 2 plaquenil

As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. I think even though they say it doesn't make a difference, I feel wierd if I don't take my plaquenil sometimes. Hi want2bepainfree, If you don't have to, don't stop your plaquenil. No one knows but I cry sometimes when no one is around to see me. Hugs, Mel Hello all, I am currently new to this site and ran across the discussion about stopping Plaquenil. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus. I stopped taking the plaquenil the beginning of December. And when I'm crying like a baby--I could feel the pain just throb in me. I took plaquenil for several years, then I went to the Mayo Clinic and they didn't think I had lupus and took me off. I have been taking Plaquenil for about 8-9 months and thought that it was not helping me because I still have a fair amount of joint pain, fatigue, muscle pain and so many other issues.

Apr 12, 2011 I take 200mgs in the morning with breakfast and the other 200mgs with my dinner at 5 pm, as long as i eat enough i don't get any side effects. when i was on it about 7 years ago, i was told by the Dr to take it at night only, and i guess i did'nt take it with enough food cos i use to get terrible gas and my stomach hurt. Jan 08, 2017 I am prescribed plaquenil I take the substitute hydroxychloroquine 200 mg twice a day; I accidentally took an extra dose - -about two hours after the first dose. So all total today - 1 200 mg in the morning; 1 in the evening and 1 about 25 minutes ago - should I be concerned? Thinking I should skip my morning dose. In children, dosage is also based on weight. For malaria prevention, take this medication by mouth once a week on the same day of the week, or as directed by your doctor. Mark a calendar to help you remember. This drug is usually started 2 weeks before entering the area with malaria.

It doesn't agree with my stomach (I take it with meals too). The pain in my swollen neck glands is horrific, and my arms and legs are hurting once again. Why does it seem like my whole life just turned for the worst --it was like I was fine one day and the next I'm so ill. It was pure hell, every joint in my body hurt and the fatigue was tremendous. As Tracy stated it is such as slow acting drug when you first start it, it's really hard to tell if it's working, it's not until we stop the med that we realize what a huge difference it was making. I happen to run out of my medication and fail to be in a hurry to get a refill because I had convinced myself that it wasn't working anyway. I missed 2 doses and felt a lot of pain in my arms, and had a pretty bad couple of days. Just wondering if any of you experience any pain if you don't take a few pills.
